About Us

Rise Up Academy was created as an alternative high school in August 2010 in response to the need to offer additional options for the South Bend Community School Corporation. Rise Up Academy occupies the old Eggleston Elementary School building at 19010 Adams Road, South Bend Indiana, which is on the extreme north-side of the school district and only ½ mile from the Michigan-Indiana state line.

Currently Rise Up Academy accepts 11
th and 12th grade students who for a variety of reasons have fallen behind their grade peers in credits and require an opportunity to catch up with their peers through Rise Up Academy’s accelerated credit program.  Students transferring to Rise Up Academy must be on a diploma track, behind in their credits or are seeking a smaller more personalized learning environment to complete their graduation requirements.  The goal of Rise Up Academy is to get students back on track to complete all of their graduation requirements.

The following form MUST be completed by a parent or guardian to request enrollment for school year 2018-2019.
